Ingredients you need to bake a delicious farmhouse bread:
|320 g||white flour|
|180 g||wholegrain meal|
|330 ml||lukewarm water|
|1 tea spoon||salt|
Combine the ingredients in a mixing bowl and knead for about 8 minutes into a smooth dough using the kneading hooks of the food processor or hand mixer.
Then leave the dough to rest in a warm place (approx. 23°C) for 1 hour.
Shape the bread into an oval, dust with flour and place it on the baking sheet.
Let the dough rest there for about 30–40 minutes. During this time the dough should rise twice its size.
For a nice crust, place a heat-resistant container with approx. 100 ml water in the oven and preheat the oven to 230°C.
Put the bread in the preheated oven and bake. After approx. 15 minutes, reduce the baking temperature to 210°C (190°C convection). Bake the bread for another 30-35 minutes.
Baking in the bread maker: Combine all ingredients in the baking pot and start the corresponding baking program.
